What the client wanted

Fast Fixx needed a new online based system that was secure and reliable. More importantly it needed to perform the same tasks their current Access database system performed. However, they also wanted a new mobile app that their field engineers could use. Overall, they required one platform that would connect all areas of their business which included their office admin duties, field engineers job lists, warehouse parts picking operations, their accounting system and their management reporting module.

What we delivered

Tentacle’s senior analyst spent 3 weeks investigating the client’s business model, day-to-day operations and their current database system. Once the exact system was understood, a new model was presented for Fast Fixx's management team to approve. From here a functional document was created which acted like a roadmap for the entire development team.

At the end of three months, Tentacle's design and development teams delivered a bespoke system that ticked all the boxes for Fast Fixx. Once the new system was thoroughly tested, it was run in parallel with their current system for 1 month. Within 3 weeks, Fast Fixx turned off their old system and started to enjoy the benefits of their new system.
